One aspect of our maintenance operation that sets us apart from other companies is our certification as part of the Polyglass Roofing & Waterproofing Systems Registered Contractor Program. The program selects Registered Contractors on the basis of “reputation in the industry and community, financial stability, as well as a background of successful, conscientious workmanship.” It provides our maintenance teams with exclusive access to extended term warranties and additional technical support for the company’s materials, which we use for all of our flat roofing projects.
LAPMG’s Director of Construction & Repair Services Juan Quezada explains that many companies offer warranties on their roofing jobs that aren’t actually backed or verified by the manufacturers of the materials they’re using. If a company hasn’t reviewed and authenticated a contractor’s work—their ability to deliver or apply the product as its meant to be—how can that contractor reliably offer a manufacturer warranty on the product?
“One of my goals is to make sure that clients always know exactly what it is that they’re paying for when they hire us for a roof,” Quezada said. “With our Polyglass certification, we can show clients that we’re certifiably well equipped to provide this service, and back it up with a warranty of up to twenty years.”
